SAFED Van Driver Training following on from the successful programme which was originally designed for HGVdrivers, the government recently widened its remit to include subsidised training for smaller commercial vehicle drivers.
The government funding means that van driver training grants are available for most companies to help with the cost of training.

SAFED courses have a proven track record in reducing fuel consumption, improving vehicle sympathy and reducing risk. SAFED Van Driver Training also fulfils Health and Safety requirements for training your staff, so you will be on firmer legal ground under recently introduced corporate liability laws The training can be given flexibly, from one trainee for half a day, to training drivers in pairs over a full day.

SAFED for Vans is a one day off-the-job training course which invloves a mix of classroom and on the road tuition. Each driver that passes is awarded a Certificate of Achievement. And with the changes to driving style achieved can you afford NOT to have your drivers trained?
